A history of Theater Alliance
Since 1993, Theater Alliance has made work in Washington DC under six artistic leaderships and in as many buildings. This is the shape of that story.
The early years
1993–2001

To produce the highest quality theater while remaining inclusive; to present productions that appeal to audiences beyond those traditionally served by local theater and to include children in the process, in particular those who are economically disadvantaged, allowing them to learn while they themselves become teachers in the sharing of their lives.
