- Maple Drive (see map) is a two-block stretch that runs parallel between M and I Sts Sw. Our entrance is street level between The Westerly apartment building and the Appletree Institute.
- We are one block from the Waterfront Metro on the Green Line and Good Company Donuts is on the corner of our block.
- Parking is available at ABM Westerly garage on Wesley Place SW (at the corner of Wesley and K Sw.) You will make a right onto Maple Drive at Good Company Donuts, (you’ll pass the theater on the right) and turn right at the end of that block, then 500 feet down the block, on the right is a “Retail & Residential Parking” garage with a P sign (you can see it in the picture below). Once inside the garage, turn right to find parking and take the retail elevator up to Floor 1 – which drops you about 10 steps from the front door of the theater!
- If you park in the garage, bring your ticket with you for re-entry! (Or let us know if you forget, so we can scan you in.)

A new model for a shared space.
At 340 Maple Dr SW, we’re building 9,000 square feet of possibility: a 140-seat black box theater built for flexibility, a 60-seat proscenium and screening cinema, rehearsal studios and artist co-working space, and a civic engagement hub where community and education programming can take root alongside the art. The building itself carries our values. We’re piloting solidarity economics—shared resources, financial accessibility models that meet DC where it actually lives, ADA compliance treated as building block, not an afterthought. We’re installing energy-efficient systems and upgrading sound, projection, and lighting to serve every artist and every neighbor who walks through the door. This isn’t an expansion; it’s a foundation. After a first year of activating this space with performances and partnerships that proved the model works, we’re now building the permanent version!
